 Dr.
Kreiger is Senior Scientist, Division of Preventive
Oncology, Cancer Care Ontario, and Professor of Epidemiology,
Departments of Public Health Sciences and Nutritional
Sciences, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
Her research has included both cancer epidemiology and
the epidemiology of osteoporosis: She has conducted studies
of risk factors, focussing on reproductive, hormonal,
and pharmacological exposures, and habits of nutrition
and physical activity, as well as methodological studies
relating to response rates. Her teaching includes hypothesis
development and study design in epidemiology, and ethics
in epidemiologic research.
